When I first started Studio Kacy, I never imagined it would grow into the little business it is today. Honestly, I didn’t think too hard about the name at the time as I wasn't sure where it would lead to. I chose 'Kacy' as a nod to my parents and it felt right in the moment.
Over time, though, everyone began calling me 'Kacy'. Totally understandable but not actually my name (I clearly didn't think this name through🤭). As my work has grown, I want this space to reflect not just a floral studio, but a haven for all the pieces I love to create. A brand refresh feels like the natural next step.
So why 'Poppy Fare' you might wonder? I love poppies and what they mean - beauty, resilience and remembrance (also why you can often see them featured in my florals). And 'fare' is a reference to the journey from where I started. Put together, 'Poppy Fare' is an invitation to slow down and appreciate pieces that bring you joy and comfort.
So, from today, Studio Kacy will now be known as Poppy Fare. You’ll still see the florals you know me for, but I’m hoping to also use this space as my creative playground, filled with designs and pieces that light me up.
Here’s to new chapter - and bringing a little more beauty into the everyday.
